Patrick Ferro was born in Australia & parents born overseas in a small town called Acquaro in Calabria.

When I'm not making limoncello I am a corporate M&A lawyer.

Coming from first-generation parents, I think heritage is extremely important. Growing up speaking a foreign language really allowed me to connect deeply with my parents, grandparents, and many extended cousins, especially during trips to Italy to visit them or when we’d get those long-distance phone calls from uncles and aunties. It gave me a sense of belonging that went beyond just family; it tied me to stories, traditions, food, and even the way people express love or frustration.

Other it may sound cliché the strong traditions that we uphold allow the younger generations to connect to our roots, e.g., making tomato sauce after summer and making salami in the winter, these traditions allowed us to connect deeply to our roots.

For me culture really defines who we are as a person, from an individual that is deeply connected to their heritage it really does embody within. It allows us to connect with others of the same heritage simply because we speak the same language or follow the same traditions.

That strong cultural tie was one of the biggest catalysts when I decided to start our brand Sapori d'Amalfi, I've always loved attending Italian festas and community events, immersing myself in the music, food, laughter, and sense of belonging that come with celebrating our heritage together. Those experiences fuelled my real desire to be more involved, to share the authentic tastes and spirit of the Amalfi Coast—like the sun-soaked terraces, limoncello sipped with family, and the vibrant flavours of Italy, right here in Australia. Ultimately, culture isn't just out ethnicity; it's the living force that keeps generations connected, inspires new creations like our handcrafted liqueurs and beverages, and reminds me every day of the joy in preserving and passing on what makes us who we are.

I'm Stephanie Farah and I was born in Melbourne, Australia. My family is from Northern Italy, specifically Treviso and Venato.

I’m a registered Nurse as well as co-founder of Sapori D’Amalfi.

My Italian heritage is a huge part of who I am and how I live my life. Growing up, family, food, and tradition were central to everyday life, and those values continue to guide me today. My roots have taught me the importance of connection, hospitality, and taking pride in where you come from. They influence both my career in nursing and my passion for sharing Italian culture through our business.

Culture, to me, is about belonging. It’s expressed through food, community, and family. Through our brand, I’m intentionally trying to bring this culture to life by creating a strong sense of community, one that feels welcoming, authentic, and rooted in shared experiences. Sapori D’Amalfi isn’t just about products, but about bringing people together, celebrating heritage, and creating moments that feel meaningful and connected.
